Simone Herbert-Lowe, Innovator of the Year (Individual) at the 2022 Lawyers Weekly, Women in Law Awards
On 24 November 2022 Simone Herbert-Lowe was named Innovator of the Year (Individual) at the 2022 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards.
Additionally, Simone was named as a finalist in the Thought Leader of the Year and the Excellence in Law categories.
The Women in Law Awards was created to provide a platform for all successful women in the legal industry to highlight their accomplishments and be nationally recognised for their outstanding hard work while propelling the industry forward.
The awards are considered the gold standard for excellence, providing a unique opportunity for all women across the Australian legal industry — from rising stars through to those in senior ranks — to advance in their careers.
The finalist list, which was announced on 4 October 2022, featured over 286 high-achieving professionals within the legal industry, across 31 submission-based categories.
Lawyers Weekly editor Jerome Doraisamy said “Significant strides have been made towards parity in the legal profession. But there remains a way to go.”
“It is Lawyers Weekly’s great privilege to be able to host this event, and to acknowledge and celebrate the myriad accomplishments of the extraordinary women making up our nation’s legal profession.”
Simone Herbert-Lowe, Founder of Law & Cyber, said that she was genuinely touched to be recognised by her peers as a finalist in three categories at the Women in Law Awards 2022. On winning the Innovator of the Year (Individual) award, Simone shared that “Law & Cyber’s recognition for our contribution to providing quality legal and education services to support our client’s cyber resilience at such a crucial time for Australian organisations reinforces the strength of our offerings and dedication to provide a quality and positive experience for all our clients.”
